The #6201 is the Okin motor that Pride used for years on their lift chairs. It has proven to be one of the most durable and reliable actuators ever used on lift chairs. It is possible for this motor to go bad, but in reality, unless you hear the motor running or gears grinding but the actuator is not moving, it is very unlikely that this motor is the problem in the chair.
The great majority of the time, you will find the problem is in the hand control, especially if your chair has the #8213 hand control.
